2021 Mayoral & City Commissioner Candidates Forum

The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and the Golden Isles Association of Realtors invite you to attend the 2021 Mayoral & City Commissioner Candidates Forum. The General Election will be held on November 2.

The event will begin at 5:30 and last approximately 2 hours. This forum will provide candidates the opportunity to speak on issues of importance to them and also field questions directed by moderators.

With coffee and ocean breezes, Brunswick supports a network of entrepreneurs, mentors and other creative people as they explore ideas, challenges, and problems. 1 Million Cups-Brunswick meets the first Wednesday of every month at 9 a.m. at Tipsy McSway’s, 1414 Newcastle St., Brunswick, GA. The presentations are also transmitted via Facebook Live.

Every Wednesday over 160 communities meet to give each other support, encouragement and feedback over a cup of coffee.

Presentation by Matted Ox Axe Throwing. Matted Ox Axe Throwing is a veteran owned axe throwing venue serving the Golden Isles of Georgia. Their goal is to provide a safe and fun axe throwing experience. They offer a great selection of craft and domestic beers and malt beverages.

Monday – Thursday, October 4,5,& 7 – Display of public safety vehicles at Mary Ross Park
Wednesday, October 6 – Awards ceremony for the art content, essay content, and scavenger hunt
Friday, October 8 – Walking tour around downtown historic district
Saturday, October 9 – City-wide clean up

BRAG Dream Team Community Bike Ride

This community bike ride will leave from Howard Coffin Community Park, 1402 Sonny Miller Way. All participants must wear helmets. Ice cold lemonade will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Arbery Family.

City Commission Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. See the city calendar for additional details, including the agenda.

The meeting can be viewed live on Facebook, and video recordings of meetings are posted on YouTube Channel by 5:00 p.m. the following day.
